The Washington State Department of Transportation seeks a GIS and data management specialist to serve as the Local Roads & Intersections Data Steward, ensuring accuracy and usability of spatial and tabular road data. You will support safety analysis, planning, and operations by maintaining authoritative datasets and collaborating with partners.

• GIS data management for enterprise-scale datasets.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro/ArcGIS Online in a professional setting.
• Ability to gather requirements and tailor data products using relational databases like SQL Server.

Responsabilidades

• Manage local roads and statewide intersections data stewardship business activities.
• Oversee and support data, analysis, reporting services to internal/external customers.
• Provide monthly production data updates; respond to data product inquiries.
• Determine methodologies for collection and creation of local road data.
• Create, update and quality assure GIS and tabular data for local roads and statewide intersections.
• Establish data standards, validation rules, and documentation; collaborate with CRAB and others.
• Coordinate to meet business needs and federal reporting requirements (MIRE, HPMS).
• Create and maintain metadata and process docs; disseminate to CRAB and groups.
• Provide expert guidance on usage of data to partners.
