Job summary
Gulf Companies in Houston, TX seeks a GIS Analyst II to coordinate GIS activities across projects, gather and analyze spatial data, and customize interfaces for GIS workflows. You will lead GIS tasks for midstream design, integrate data from multiple sources, develop GIS tools, and mentor junior staff while ensuring data quality and actionable geospatial outputs for ongoing projects.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of GIS experience with last 5 as GIS Analyst or similar.
- 5+ years using ArcGIS 10.0 or higher is required.
- Deep knowledge of the pipeline industry.
- Proficient with ESRI Desktop products and GIS/CAD tools.
- Experience with ArcGIS server, SQL Server or Oracle is desirable.
- GIS certification is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead GIS efforts for FEED and detailed design on midstream projects.
- Perform advanced GIS analysis and manage spatial databases.
- Integrate data from multiple sources into the GIS system.
- Develop GIS tools to assist end users and maintain documentation.
- Create presentation maps and conduct complex geospatial analysis.
- Provide in-house training and mentor junior staff.
