VDOT’s Central Office Maintenance Division seeks an advanced GIS Analyst to support the Highway Maintenance Management Section. You will analyze GIS data, develop and maintain GIS applications, and coordinate between ITD, asset managers, and system users.

The role requires 4–8 years of GIS experience, ArcGIS Pro 3.x+, and strong communication skills. This is a hybrid position with 3–4 days per week in-office in Mechanicsville.

Competenze

• BS/BA in GIS, Geography, Cartography, Computer Science, or related field with GIS experience.
• 4–8 years of GIS and GIS application development experience.
• 5+ years designing, building and delivering web applications.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; ability to explain technical info to non-technical users.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro 3.x+, ArcSDE, and ArcGIS Enterprise.

Mansioni

• Perform advanced GIS analysis and maintain GIS data for maintenance assets.
• Develop GIS applications using ESRI technologies and coordinate with ITD and asset admins.
• Design, build, and deliver multi-layer maps and GIS tools; work with minimal supervision.
