Job summary

UCLA is seeking an Associate Director, Gift Planning to lead planned giving initiatives, focusing on bequests and charitable gift annuities. You will manage a portfolio of donors, craft tailored illustrations and proposals, and collaborate with campus colleagues to advance UCLA’s mission.

You will also drive program effectiveness by maintaining pipeline data, generating reports, and supporting Legacy Society events and donor stewardship.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in fundraising or planned giving environment.
• Experience with estate planning instruments and gift strategies.
• Experience preparing planned gift illustrations and trust docs.
• Experience in planning and executing fundraising events.
• Familiarity with Blackbaud CRM and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as frontline fundraiser and operational anchor.
• Manage a portfolio of prospects/donors focused on bequests and charitable gift annuities.
• Assist campus development officers with technical gift planning strategies and proposals.
• Generate prospect reports and conduct detailed donor research.
• Support Legacy Society stewardship events and gifts.
