Job summary

University of California, Los Angeles seeks an Associate Director of Gift Planning to advance bequest and charitable gift annuities programs, manage a donor portfolio, and support campus development officers with tailored illustrations and proposals.

In this role you will drive program effectiveness by managing pipeline data, generating reports, conducting donor research, and supporting Legacy Society stewardship events, while growing your fundraising expertise in a collaborative External

Qualifications

Minimum of three years of demonstrated fundraising or planned giving experience.
Experience with estate planning instruments and integrating gift planning into fundraising.
Experience preparing complex planned gift illustrations and working with diverse asset types.
Experience conceptualizing events and managing gift pipelines with reports.
Working knowledge of fundraising in a university setting and goals of a research institution.
Knowledge of bequests, charitable gift annuities and outright gifts.
Ability to understand tax-encouraged philanthropy and related laws.
Ability to develop sophisticated gift strategies and build donor relationships.
Excellent written communication for reports, proposals and acknowledgments.
Strong analytical, research and data management skills.
