MSL acts as a scientific peer and primary conduit between Bausch Health and healthcare professionals, collaborating with cross-functional field teams to inform strategy. The role requires engaging KMEs, delivering data-based clinical presentations, representing at congresses, guiding trial site selection, and translating global medical plans into local tactics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degrees (PhD, PharmD, or MD) highly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years MSL experience preferred.
• Established relationships with Gastroenterology and/or Hepatology KMEs desired.
• Takes policies and procedures seriously.
• Self-starter with initiative and teamwork.
• Expertise in drug information communication.
• Demonstrated project management ability.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of FDA requirements related to MSLs.
• Strong relationship-building with the research community.

Responsibilities

• Peer-to-Peer Relationship Management with KMEs and healthcare decision-makers.
• Deliver fair-balanced, evidence-based clinical presentations and lead discussions.
• Represent the organization at major medical congresses and synthesize breakthroughs.
• Capture voice of the customer insights to inform Global Medical Strategy.
• Identify trial sites, facilitate patient recruitment, and liaise for IITs.
• Identify opportunities for Real-World Evidence generation.
• Provide internal scientific briefings to ensure medical landscape alignment.
• Translate global medical plans into localized tactical execution.
• Support Life Cycle Management with field insights and competitive intelligence.
• Provide medical/scientific support through on-label information on diseases and treatments.
• Support pre-launch readiness and disease-state priming ahead of approval.
