Job summary
Potter is seeking an experienced Technician specializing in VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz or Porsche. Our facility is clean, modern, and air conditioned with advanced scan equipment including Xentry, ISTA, PWIS 3, Autologic, Autel Maxisys-elite and Launch.
We are TRP certified, perform SCN and vehicle coding, and work on German makes, Land Rover and Jaguar models. We offer high pay, robust benefits, and a clear path for internal promotion.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an auto Service Technician.
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Team player.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to learn new technology and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Performs work specified on the repair order.
- Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning.
- Communicates with the Service Advisor so customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
- Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Executes repairs to manufacturer specifications.
