Job summary

Potter is seeking an experienced Technician specializing in VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz or Porsche. Our facility is clean, modern, and air conditioned with advanced scan equipment including Xentry, ISTA, PWIS 3, Autologic, Autel Maxisys-elite and Launch.

We are TRP certified, perform SCN and vehicle coding, and work on German makes, Land Rover and Jaguar models. We offer high pay, robust benefits, and a clear path for internal promotion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an auto Service Technician.
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Team player.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to learn new technology and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs work specified on the repair order.
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning.
• Communicates with the Service Advisor so customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Executes repairs to manufacturer specifications.

We are looking for an experienced Technician who specializes in any VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz or Porsche vehicles.

We have a very clean, modern and Air Conditioned facility. We use Xentry, ISTA, PWIS 3, Autologic, Autel Maxisys-elite and Launch scan equipment.

We are TRP certified. We perform SCN and vehicle coding. We are a full service & repair center for all German makes, Land Rover and 2010 and newer Jaguar's. We have 8 lifts,Hunter Hawkeye Alignment System, Hunter Road-Force Balance and a Hunter Auto 34R Tire Machine. We stay very busy and need to keep up with our goal of complete satisfaction for our clients who count on us for high quality service & repair. About the job:

This Technician will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles. Areas of expertise include but are not limited to engine, transmission, drivability , cooling system, brake system, electronics, steering and suspension, HVAC.
