Job summary

Potter's Precision Imports in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician specializing in VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz or Porsche. Work in a clean, modern, air-conditioned facility equipped with Xentry, ISTA, PWIS 3, Autologic, Autel, and Launch scan tools.

We offer a competitive pay plan from $84,000 to $150,000 depending on experience, plus 401(k), health insurance, vacation time and weekends off, with opportunities for internal promotion and continued education paid

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of experience as an auto Service Technician.
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Team player.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to learn new technology and procedures to specification.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, diagnoses and repairs customer vehicles.
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Maintains and repairs engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC.
• Communicates with the Service Advisor about additional service needs.
• Provides time estimates for additional repairs.
• Executes repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Technician who specializes in any VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz or Porsche vehicles.

We have a very clean, modern and Air Conditioned facility. We use Xentry, ISTA, PWIS 3, Autologic, Autel Maxisys-elite and Launch scan equipment.

We are TRP certified. We perform SCN and vehicle coding. We are a full service & repair center for all German makes, Land Rover and 2010 and newer Jaguar's. We have 8 lifts, Hunter Hawkeye Alignment System, Hunter Road-Force Balance and a Hunter Auto 34R Tire Machine. We stay very busy and need to keep up with our goal of complete satisfaction for our clients who count on us for high quality service & repair. About the job:

This Technician will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles. Areas of expertise include but are not limited to engine, transmission, drivability , cooling system, brake system, electronics, steering and suspension, HVAC.
