Job summary

Ormat is seeking a seasoned project manager to oversee worldwide geothermal exploration programs, including drilling campaigns, well testing, and field development, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and on-time delivery.

The role requires leading scoping, permitting, execution, and turnover for plant construction, coordinating across permitting, land, resource science, and engineering teams, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Business or Engineering degree or related field (significant field experience considered).
• PMP certification required or commitment to achieve.
• Five years of project experience, preferably drilling or geothermal.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence a diverse group of executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple geothermal exploration programs worldwide, including drilling campaigns and field development.
• Manage exploration projects from scoping and permitting through execution and turnover for plant construction.
• Develop, maintain, and track project schedules and budgets to align with goals and milestones.
• Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigations, and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
• Interface between permitting, transmission/interconnection, land, resource science, and engineering teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure adherence to company standards and policies.
