Job summary

Zanskar is seeking a Sr Drilling and Completions Engineer to join our Drilling team in Salt Lake City, Utah. This full-time, salaried role focuses on planning and executing drilling campaigns, including completions, with emphasis on safety and efficiency in frontier geothermal projects.

You will design well programs, support field operations, manage vendor relations, and contribute to regulatory compliance while traveling to field locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on field drilling/ completions/operations experience.
• Ability to evaluate vendors and manage performance.
• Understand risk trade-offs to balance safety with speed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, planning and execution of drilling campaigns from gradient wells to production/injection wells.
• Provide daily technical and field support; be the primary point of contact for field issues.
• Oversee completions designs and ESP installations; prepare procedures and write specs.
