Job summary

Zanskar in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a Sr Drilling and Completions Engineer to lead design, planning, and execution of geothermal drilling campaigns. You will own technical, business, and operational aspects of drilling, including completions and ESP installations, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The role requires hands-on field experience, strong vendor management, and the ability to travel up to 20% to field locations while advancing projects in frontier geothermal systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and geothermal experience preferred.
• Hands-on field drilling experience and completions/operations.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% to field locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, planning, and execution of drilling campaigns.
• Develop well programs to meet objectives while complying with HSE.
• Provide technical and management support on daily drilling activities.
• Design, procure, and write ESP installation procedures.
• Lead tendering and contract negotiation with drilling vendors.
• Travel frequently to oversee operations.
