Sterling St James Inc. seeks an experienced Geotechnical Superintendent to lead field operations for heavy civil and foundation projects in the Tampa Bay area. You will oversee drilled shafts, auger cast piles, and earth retention crews, ensuring safety and efficiency on site.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in geotechnical construction, strong crew and cost control skills, and a readiness to relocate to maximize large Southeast projects with a well-backed contractor.

Qualifications

• 10+ years geotechnical construction experience across drilled shafts, CFA piles, micropiles and earth retention.
• Strong ability to manage crews, cost and schedule in the field.
• Proven safety leadership and collaboration with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Run daily field operations on geotechnical and deep foundation projects.
• Lead drilled shaft, auger cast pile and earth retention crews.
• Manage drill rigs, grout plants and shotcrete pumps; ensure maintenance.
