Software Placement Group is seeking a Geotechnical Superintendent to lead drilled shaft and deep foundation operations in the Atlanta area. You will run self-perform crews and oversee heavy civil projects with a well-resourced team.
The role requires 10+ years in geotechnical construction, strong leadership, and ability to travel; a company vehicle and comprehensive benefits are provided. This is an on-site, field-based position with opportunity for career growth.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of geotechnical construction experience across soldier piles, tiebacks, micropiles, drilled shafts, CFA auger cast piles, wick drains and soil nails or rock nails.
Responsibilities
- Run daily field operations on geotechnical and deep foundation projects.
- Lead drilled shaft, auger cast pile and earth retention crews.
- Maintain top safety standards with the safety department and project management.
- Plan means and methods for geotechnical activities with the project team.
- Manage drill rigs, grout plants and shotcrete pumps and ensure proper use/maintenance.
- Update project schedules and track field productivity.
