Job summary

Top Echelon LLC is seeking a Geotechnical Superintendent to oversee drilled shaft and deep foundation work in the Atlanta area. You will lead self-perform geotechnical crews on heavy civil and infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, schedules and budgets.

Candidates should have 10+ years in geotechnical construction, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with CFA piles, drilled shafts, wick drains and soil nails. Relocation to Atlanta or proximity is preferred, and travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in geotechnical construction
• Experience with drilled shafts, CFA piles, auger cast piles, wick drains and soil/rock nails
• Ability to manage crews, cost and schedule in field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel
• Based in Atlanta area or willing to relocate
• Drill rig and support equipment knowledge

Responsibilities

• Run daily field operations on geotechnical and deep foundation projects
• Lead drilled shaft, auger cast pile and earth retention crews
• Ensure safety is top priority with safety department and PM
• Plan means and methods for geotechnical activities with project team
• Manage drill rigs, grout plants and shotcrete pumps and maintenance
• Update project schedules and track field productivity
• Control labor costs and keep work on budget
• Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors and self-perform work
• Run quality control and field documentation
• Participate in job start and job close meetings
