Job summary

Geocomp, Inc. is seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to join the Soil Testing Laboratory in Elmsford, NY. You will work with state-of-the-art automated testing equipment on real-world projects supporting site characterization, geotechnical design, quality control, and performance assessment.

You will be part of a new team of laboratory professionals committed to safety, accuracy, and teamwork, with training and growth opportunities within a collaborative laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Organized, adaptable, and willing to learn new laboratory techniques.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant laboratory testing experience - full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing on soil.
• Collect, record, and report test data with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assist with laboratory projects and daily operations as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.
• Uphold high standards of quality, safety, and process compliance.
