Job summary

ECS Limited in Salt Lake City is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee geotechnical and CMT projects from proposal through final delivery.

You will mentor staff, manage budgets, ensure quality and client satisfaction, and contribute to business development while upholding ECS Core Values. This role requires strong communication, leadership, and a proven track record in engineering consulting.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years of geotechnical experience.
• Requires PE or PG license in applicable state.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages geotechnical and CMT projects from proposal through completion.
• Oversees preparation and review of geotechnical reports, including technical analysis and recommendations.
• Ensures all project tasks, from proposal to final invoice, are completed accurately and on time.
• Manages project budgets, change orders, invoicing, and collections.
• Reviews field reports and ensures quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Prepares and oversees proposals and contracts.
• Serves as primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
• Hosts and participates in project meetings to present findings and provide technical solutions.
• Supervises field investigations, drilling, and testing activities.
• Provides technical oversight and verifies calculations and recommendations.
• Mentors and develops junior staff, technicians, and project managers.
• Supports staffing decisions and resource allocation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
