Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Raleigh seeks an experienced Geotechnical Senior Project Geologist to manage key client projects from proposal through final delivery. You will lead geotechnical and CMT work, oversee reports, and ensure technical quality, client satisfaction, and project profitability.

You will mentor staff, contribute to business development, and coordinate project staffing and scheduling while upholding ECS core values and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience.
• Professional Geologist (P.G.) license in the applicable state or eligibility for reciprocity within 3 months of hire.
• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar.
• Valid driver's license if driving for ECS subsidiary.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages geotechnical and CMT projects from proposal through completion.
• Oversees preparation and review of geotechnical reports, including analysis and recommendations.
• Manages project budgets, change orders, invoicing, and collections.
• Reviews field reports for quality and accuracy.
• Prepares and oversees proposals and contracts.
• Serves as primary client contact and leads project meetings.
