Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a senior geotechnical leader in Wilmington, NC to build and manage geotechnical and CMT teams, review reports, and drive client development. PE licensed professionals with 10–15 years of technical and managerial experience are preferred.

The role focuses on leadership, staff development, and expanding market presence while delivering high-quality geotechnical consulting services nationwide.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited program preferred).
• 10-15 years of technical and managerial experience in geotechnical engineering or CMT.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Being a team builder with the ability to both bring in and do the work.
• Developing staff and increasing the company presence in the marketplace.
• Managing and mentoring of CMT/geotechnical engineering staff.
• Working with both CMT and geotechnical staff and projects.
• Senior level review and preparation of geotechnical reports.
• Client and business development, and assisting staff in marketing services.
• Affinitiy for marketing and business development.
