The ideal candidate will have a PhD or Master's degree, advanced knowledge in debris flow assessments, and experience with GIS. Qualifications

• PhD or Master's degree required with relevant experience.
• Registered as, or eligible to register as a PE, GE in California.
• Experience designing landslide mitigation.
• Ability to adapt to unpredictable field conditions.
• Willingness to travel and participate in remote field work.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize key clients and growth opportunities.
• Lead business development & sales efforts.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor junior and intermediate staff.
• Model natural hazard phenomena using industry-leading software.
• Write reports ensuring technical accuracy and quality.

Skills

Advanced subject matter expertise in debris flows

Strong communications and writing skills

Ability to work with and communicate to a team of Engineers and Geoscientists

Education

PhD in a related discipline

Master’s degree in engineering geology or geotechnical engineering
