Job summary

LGC Geotechnical, Inc. is seeking a Senior Soils Technician in Orange, CA. The role requires a minimum of 5 years’ field experience, with duties including construction monitoring, soil sampling and testing, and producing daily field reports.

Candidates must have their own vehicle and a valid California driver’s license with a clean record. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team are essential; grading/earthwork observation experience is a plus.

Current projects involve providing recommendations for grading, landslide stabilization, liquefaction mitigation, groundwater control, soil improvement, shallow and deep foundation design, observation of deep excavations, and design of earth retaining structures.
