Job summary

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is seeking a full-time Senior Geotechnical Field Technician for our Alliance, OH office. Qualified candidates should have construction inspection experience and relevant certifications. Relocation assistance is not available.

Pay Rate is $20-26/hr based on experience. The role requires outdoor work, valid driver’s license, and ability to transport testing equipment to sites. Overtime may apply with a 1.5x rate beyond 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction inspection and field testing preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Observe and document construction activities to ensure compliance with technical specs.
• Monitor and test soil moisture and density using nuclear gauge.
• Test concrete slump, air content, and unit weight; test asphalt temperature and compaction.
• Assist lab and drilling personnel as needed.
• Prepare daily reports, testing documents, and timesheets.
