Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) in Alliance, OH, seeks a Geotechnical Field Professional to support the Construction Observation and Testing group.

You will observe construction activities, prepare daily field reports, and assist in geotechnical reports. This role requires a Civil Engineering degree (EIT preferred), a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, willingness to work outdoors, and certifications such as NICET, ACI, APNGA, NETTCP, ICC, or FPO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field; EIT preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
• Enjoy Working Outdoors.
• Possess one or more current certifications: NICET, ACI, APNGA, NETTCP, ICC, FPO.

Responsibilities

• Observe and document construction activities to ensure compliance with technical specs.
• Prepare daily field reports and test summaries.
• Assist in the preparation of geotechnical reports.
• Perform routine calculations (settlement, bearing capacity, lateral earth pressures, slope stability) under training.
• Support geologists, engineers, and scientists on diverse projects for private and public sectors.
