Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineering Manager for our Merrimack, NH office. You will lead geotechnical and geological projects across transportation, structures, and earthwork, delivering high-quality designs and field oversight.

The role combines office-based engineering, project management, and hands-on field activities, with potential hybrid in-person/remote work. A strong NE licensure track and leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or geological engineering with geotechnical focus.
• 10+ years of post-education geotechnical/geological engineering experience.
• Engineering licensure in one or more New England states or eligibility for comity.
• Strong data analysis and technical writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior geotechnical engineering reviews and design for complex projects.
• Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting from site investigations and LiDAR.
• Develop plans, specs, and cost estimates for foundations, slopes, walls, and earthwork.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and teams.
