Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to support projects across utility, power, renewables, telecom, and municipal sectors. You will perform soil boring supervision, geotechnical report preparation, and design analyses within a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate and timely delivery.

The role requires a B.S./M.S. in Civil Engineering with geotechnical focus, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with Mathcad and geotech software.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. degree in Civil Engineering with geotechnical focus.
• At least 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Proficient with Mathcad and geotech software such as PYWall, Lpile, and Slide.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed earth retention calculations.
• Review shallow and deep foundation calculations and bearing capacity.
• Perform dewatering design.
• Coordinate drilling and lab testing.
• Collaborate across disciplines to resolve design challenges.
• Maintain organized electronic project files.
• Contribute to proposal preparation.
