Job summary

UES is seeking a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to support our growing Southern Georgia region with leadership and technical expertise across projects. You will mentor staff, participate in proposals, review designs, and represent UES with clients and the community.

As a Principal Engineer, you will apply foundational engineering principles to design, field assessments, and construction oversight while coordinating with senior management to align with business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• PE license (state) with ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
• 15+ years in Geotechnical and/or CMT field.
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of geotechnical testing methods and ASTM standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical oversight on proposals and projects.
• Mentor geotechnical staff and review designs.
• Develop project proposals and technical reports for clients.
• Manage client relationships and project execution.
• Review invoices and ensure timely reporting.
