Kleinfelder's Geotechnical Services are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead challenging projects from Salt Lake City, UT. The role emphasizes technical leadership, design and reporting for transportation, municipal, and power projects, with staff mentoring and client collaboration.

Ideal candidates bring a Master’s in geotechnical engineering and 12+ years of consulting experience, PE or equivalent within 6 months, and strong skills in field investigations and advanced software tools.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in geotechnical field and 12+ years consulting experience.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience leading geotechnical projects and mentoring staff.
• Proven ability to develop client relationships and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as geotechnical technical lead on medium to large projects.
• Oversee analyses, prepare geotechnical reports for design and construction.
• Mentor junior staff in field activities and report preparation.
• Build client relationships and grow business with existing clients.
