Job summary

NV5, Inc. is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for a leadership role in our Orlando, FL office. You will oversee geotechnical projects, mentor staff, and contribute to client proposals and presentations while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Requirements include a Civil Engineering degree, a Florida PE or the ability to obtain it within 8–12 months, and 5+ years of geotechnical experience. Proficiency with gINT, LPile, SlopeW, MathCAD and CAD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; MS in Civil/Geotechnical preferred.
• Florida PE license or ability to obtain within 8–12 months of employment.
• 5+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.
• Experience with geotechnical design and calculations for excavation and building foundations.
• Proficiency with gINT, LPile, SlopeW, MathCAD and CAD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and execute geotechnical project assignments including analysis and report preparation.
• Provide senior level review of proposals and reports and ensure client commitments are met.
• Direct and develop proposals and presentations and assist in business development.
• Actively participate in professional and technical organizations.
