Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with geotechnical coursework and field exposure.
• 5–10 years of related work experience in NYC/NJ area preferred.
• EIT or PE registration in NJ preferred; ability to obtain PE.

Responsibilities

• Oversee geotechnical subsurface investigations and logging.
• Supervise site activities: pile foundations, ground improvement, excavation.
• Prepare and review Geotechnical Data Reports and design docs.
• Review design/construction docs, RFIs, submittals, change orders.
• Perform geotechnical design for underground structures and foundations.
• Model deep foundations and ground improvement using geotechnical software.
• Conduct slope stability, seepage, liquefaction analyses.
• Prepare technical reports and attend meetings; assist with drawings.
