Job summary

Verdantas in Temecula is looking for an experienced Civil/Geotechnical Engineer to manage and oversee geotechnical investigations for major projects. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, and be a California Registered Engineer.

This role is hybrid and offers a flexible work environment, with responsibilities involving supervising staff, preparing budgets, and maintaining client relationships. Competitive benefits and a minimum salary of $125,000 are offered.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in managing geotechnical aspects of land development and construction projects.
• Geotechnical Engineer (GE) is preferred.
• Strong organization and written/oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage geotechnical investigations for major development/construction projects.
• Supervise and mentor staff engineers and technicians.
• Prepare and present proposals, scopes of work and budgets for new projects.
