Job summary

Dan Brown and Associates LLC is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Dam Engineer to support our expanding geotechnical services, with emphasis on dams and levees to complement our work in foundations, ground improvement, and seismic markets. The location is highly flexible; UES has offices across the US.

The role leads geotechnical projects for water infrastructure, manages client relationships to ensure profitability, and requires travel up to 70% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; Master’s strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive geotechnical engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Expertise in geotechnical modeling, soil-structure interaction, and ground improvement technologies.

Responsibilities

• Technical lead for geotechnical projects including dam and levee design and remediation.
• Participate in business development, networking, and marketing as needed.
• Lead project meetings with clients and oversee client communications and project profitability.
