Job summary

You will develop excavation, dewatering, foundations, dams/reservoirs, and related analyses with advanced CAD tools, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with sales to respond to proposals, and coordinate with clients to define current and future design needs. Travel up to 40% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical, Civil, Mining or Geologic Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional engineer (PE) license.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Travel 20% - 40% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Create excavation, dewatering, foundations and geotechnical designs.
• Engineer designs from basic to high complexity to meet client requirements.
• Review designs for regulatory compliance and sign off.
• Perform site reviews and ensure designs align with location specifications.
• Develop technical papers and design documentation for new or special cases.
• Mentor junior staff and provide training for growth.
• May supervise the work of junior engineers on project work.
