We seek a Senior Geotechnical Project Manager to lead geotechnical, forensic, and construction projects, interact with clients, and manage budgets. You will coordinate field activities, perform analyses, and prepare technical reports while

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Minimum 10+ years of geotechnical consulting experience.
• Familiarity with Austin-area projects preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage geotechnical, forensic, and construction projects.
• Interact directly with clients and manage project budgets.
• Coordinate and participate in field activities (borings, test pits, trenches).
• Evaluate geologic and seismic hazards and perform analyses.
• Prepare geotechnical proposals and technical reports.
• Provide mentorship to staff engineers, geologists, and technicians.

Job Description

• Manage geotechnical, forensic, and construction projects
• Interact directly with clients and manage project budgets
• Coordinate and participate in field activities, including:
• Logging borings, test pits, trenches, and cores
• Evaluating geologic and seismic hazards
• Performing forensic evaluations of distressed structures and failed slopes
• Perform engineering analyses, including:
• Foundation design and evaluation
• Slope stability analysis
• Settlement analysis
• Prepare geotechnical engineering proposals and technical reports
• Provide technical support and mentorship to staff engineers, geologists, and field technicians

Qualifications

Education

• B.S. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering required
• M.S. in related field preferred

Required Skills & Experience

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in geotechnical consulting
• Familiarity with local engineering practices and Austin-area projects preferred
• Detail-oriented, team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
