Geocal, Inc. is a professional services engineering firm comprised of dedicated Stakeholders providing Federal, State, and Local governments with expertise in geotechnical engineering, materials testing, and bridge inspection, as well as construction management and inspection services. Since 1989, Geocal has delivered quality and value to projects associated with infrastructure and transportation design and construction in Colorado and the Western United States. Geocal currently employs professional engineers, engineering interns, geologists, construction managers, inspectors, technicians and laboratory staff.

Geocal has been experiencing rapid growth over the last 3 years and is now looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer in Denver Area. Job Responsibilities:

• Performing engineering analyses,
• Producing and reviewing reports,
• Mentoring and/or managing junior staff.

Position Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with at least 10 years of demonstrated experience. Experience in the Transportation Infrastructure projects will be a plus.
• Current registration as Professional Engineer, or ability to obtain Colorado Professional Engineering License within 3 months of hire.

Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, specifically in slope stability, seepage analyses, settlement, retaining walls, shallow and deep foundations.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
• Proficient in geotechnical software like Slope/W, Seep/W, MSE/W, Settle 3D, AASHTOWare Pavement Design, DRIVEN, AllPile, etc.
• Good driving record.
• Friendly disposition and strong ability to work in a team.
