Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Columbus, OH office. The role combines geotechnical design leadership with project management responsibilities in a hybrid, full-time setting.

The successful candidate will bring 7+ years of geotechnical experience, hold a PE license and a BSc in Civil Engineering, and lead project teams from proposal through execution while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• For this role, 7+ years geotechnical engineering experience is required.
• PE license is mandatory and a BSc in Civil Engineering is required.
• Experience leading project teams and managing client relationships is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical design and analysis for projects in Columbus, OH.
• Manage projects from proposal through execution and closeout.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors and internal teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff on technical tasks.
