Job summary

CAE USA Inc. seeks a Lead Geospatial Engineer in Tampa to direct real-time geo-spatial content development for simulation and training. You will lead a team of geo-spatial DB developers, overseeing tasks, budgets, and schedules while collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders.

The role requires strong GIS, 3D modeling, and visualization skills, plus experience in Windows and Linux development. A Bachelor’s in GIS/earth science or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS/Earth Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Background in Image Science, Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing or Geo-Imaging/Processing.
• Experience delivering projects through full development lifecycle to customer acceptance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to delegate and prioritize tasks.
• Problem-solving with ability to find multiple solutions; customer-facing experience.
• Windows proficiency; CAM and Earned Value Management and project scheduling experience.
