Job summary
Worky is seeking a Geospatial Systems Engineer (TS/SCI) in Springfield, VA to lead secure enterprise geospatial solutions and cloud-enabled deployments. This role demands deep expertise in ArcGIS, PostGIS, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and DevSecOps within RMF-compliant environments.
You will mentor engineers, collaborate with government stakeholders, and drive RMF compliance, CI/CD, and secure software delivery.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- 10+ years experience in systems/software engineering or related fields.
- Experience with GIS architectures and secure environments.
- Proficiency with containerized apps and DevSecOps.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design, development, integration, and sustainment of secure enterprise geospatial systems.
- Translate requirements into scalable geospatial solutions aligned with modernization priorities.
- Provide technical leadership across the SDLC using Agile, Scrum, and DevSecOps.
- Design, deploy, and maintain containerized geospatial apps with CI/CD and security scanning.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders and engineers to deliver secure capabilities.
