Job summary

Dewberry is currently seeking a Sr Geospatial Analyst/LiDAR Calibration Specialist for our offices in Tampa, FL, or Fairfax, VA. This position involves working on GIS/IT and Remote Sensing projects for state and federal clients across the US. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of relevant experience and a degree in Geography or GIS.

You will perform Lidar data extraction, calibration, and QAQC to meet project specifications. Dewberry values diverse experiences and encourages candidates who may not meet every qualification to apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the GIS/Remote Sensing field.
• Experience in Lidar data extraction and/or swath alignment.
• In-depth knowledge of terrain modeling.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on data post-acquisition.
• Process and extract Lidar data from raw formats.
• Perform QAQC on processed data to ensure it meets accuracy requirements.
