Job summary

The City of Austin is seeking an IT Geospatial Analyst Senior to build and maintain the city's geospatial information systems. You will design data workflows, develop geospatial applications, and produce maps, dashboards, and reports to support watershed planning, infrastructure, and environmental programs.

Working under minimal supervision, you will collaborate with IT and program staff, adapt to emerging geospatial technologies, and ensure data accuracy and governance across multiple datasets

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in a field related to geospatial analysis or IT.
• Experience with geospatial data, dashboards, and data visualization tools.
• Ability to work with GIS software, SQL and Python for data processing.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain geospatial data systems and workflows.
• Develop geospatial applications and perform data analyses and reporting.
• Produce maps, dashboards, and data products for stakeholders.
