Program: JGASS II
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Clearance Requirement: Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility (Current TS/SCI preferred)
Role Overview
Join the JGASS II program to deliver real-time, mission-critical geospatial and imagery intelligence directly to Special Operations Forces (SOF) and Geographic Combatant Commands (GCC) worldwide. As a Senior GEOINT Analyst, you will leverage Full Motion Video (FMV), electro-optical/synthetic aperture radar imagery, and advanced GIS tools to drive the Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, and Analyze (F3EA) targeting cycle.
This role demands an experienced tactical intelligence professional capable of translating raw, multi-source geospatial data into actionable battlefield intelligence, mentoring junior analysts, and spearheading complex analytical workflows in high-tempo operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational GEOINT & FMV Exploitation: Perform real-time FMV exploitation and high-level imagery analysis to support dynamic tactical operations, personnel recovery, and precision strike missions.
- Targeting Lifecycle Support: Develop comprehensive regional and point-target analysis products strictly aligned with the F3EA methodology to drive operational decision-making.
- Advanced GIS & Spatial Modeling: Integrate ground feature and remotely sensed datasets to solve complex terrain, route, and pattern-of-life intelligence challenges using Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC)-compliant systems.
- Data Management & Automation: Maintain and query multi-source geospatial databases; design streamlined data processing workflows to enhance analytical turnaround times.
- Analytical Leadership: Serve as a technical subject matter expert and project lead—mentoring junior analysts, documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs), and evaluating emerging collection capabilities.
Qualifications
Required Experience & Clearances
- Clearance: Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility; ability to onboard without clearance delays.
- Overall Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive operational and tactical intelligence experience.
- Core Technical Track Record:
- At least 6 years specialized in GIS applications combined with tactical intelligence analysis.
- At least 6 years directly embedded with or supporting operational/tactical military units.
- Skill Sets:
- Proven expertise in Full Motion Video (FMV) exploitation alongside conventional imagery analysis and production.
- Strong working familiarity with intelligence collection platforms, requirements management, and targeting systems.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Availability: Ability and willingness to work a 12-hour rotating Panama shift schedule (alternating days, nights, and weekends).
Desired Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, Activity-Based Intelligence (ABI), or a related technical discipline.
- SOF Background: Direct experience supporting Special Operations Forces missions in garrison or forward-deployed environments.
- Scripting & Automation: Hands-on experience developing scripts in Python, R, C++, Java, or Visual Basic to automate repetitive spatial data transformations and analytical processes.
