Job summary

CALNET, Inc. in Reston, VA, seeks a Geospatial Analyst with TS/SCI clearance to support NGA. The role focuses on developing and refining geospatial databases, applying data science methods, and delivering insights for mission teams.

You will work on-site in Springfield, VA, leading data integration, ETL and collaboration with NGA/IC analysts to advance the NGA Data Strategy and crisis response capabilities. A Bachelor’s in a STEM field and 10+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to take CI polygraph.
• Proficient with Python and SQL.
• Able to work on client site in Springfield, Virginia 40 hours a week (no telework).
• Knowledge of GEOINT collection and NGA/NRO.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Data Science, Data management, and database knowledge.
• Leading, integrating, defining tasks, validating within expert roles.

Responsibilities

• Work across the office to enhance workflows and create efficiencies.
• Lead projects using advanced mathematical and statistical techniques to derive insights.
• Support data analytics, data cleansing, and ETL capabilities.
• Apply statistical methods to answer intelligence questions and mission requirements.
• Build lightweight analytic tools to visualize outputs for intelligence customers.
• Design methods to track and report mission-specific objects for custody.
