Job summary
Vantor is seeking a cleared geospatial technologist to bridge two mission offices: data curation/ArcGIS Portal and data processing/Tableau analytics. You will process large geospatial datasets with Python, curate authoritative data holdings, maintain ArcGIS Portal content, and build dashboards and visual analytics for mission users.
The ideal candidate will be part geospatial programmer, data librarian, and visualization developer with strong Python, ArcGIS, and Tableau skills, capable of
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a geospatial/technical field.
- Strong Python for geospatial processing and automation.
- Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise/Portal and Tableau.
- Experience cleaning, joining, and preparing large geospatial datasets.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Responsibilities
- Support geospatial data curation, portal content, and visualization.
- Publish hosted layers, maps, dashboards in ArcGIS Portal.
- Build Tableau dashboards and analytic visuals for mission users.
- Develop data processing scripts to automate workflows.
- Collaborate across offices and communicate technical concepts clearly.
