Job summary

GRVTY is seeking a cleared geospatial technologist to bridge two mission offices, handling data curation, ArcGIS content, and Tableau reporting. The role blends geospatial programming, data stewardship, and visualization development to empower mission users with clear, actionable insights.

You will publish large geospatial datasets, automate workflows with Python, and build dashboards and web maps for operational decision-making, collaborating across teams and communicating complex concepts

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• 8+ years of professional geospatial technology experience.
• Strong Python experience for geospatial data processing and automation.
• Experience with large geospatial datasets and data preparation for analysis.
• Experience publishing and maintaining geospatial content in ArcGIS platforms.
• Experience developing dashboards or analytics in Tableau or BI tools.
• Understanding of geospatial data formats, projections, and spatial joins.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS for spatial data management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with mission users to understand geospatial data needs and workflows.
• Identify, clean, transform, curate, and publish large geospatial and tabular datasets.
• Develop Python tools to automate geospatial data processing and publication workflows.
• Manage ArcGIS Portal content including hosted layers, maps, and dashboards.
• Build Tableau dashboards and analytic visualizations for stakeholders.
• Apply cartographic design and metadata best practices for usable geospatial products.
• Integrate diverse datasets into cohesive analytical environments.
• Create documentation, data dictionaries, and SOPs to support workflows.
• Collaborate across offices and communicate technical concepts clearly.
