Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Geospatial Analyst III for our Geospatial Solutions and Analytics team in Fairfax, VA. You will perform spatial analyses, develop maps and dashboards, and lead geospatial projects for federal, state, and local clients.

The role requires in-office presence at least 3 days per week at Dewberry's Fairfax headquarters, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior staff while delivering data-driven insights and high-quality geospatial solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in GIS or related field.
Minimum five years of experience with Esri technology, especially AGOL tools like Experience Builder, Dashboards, and Hub.
Ability to work independently and in agile team settings.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform is helpful.

Responsibilities

Perform spatial analyses using Esri software to support planning and infrastructure projects.
Develop maps, dashboards, and data visualizations for stakeholders.
Conduct network, proximity, suitability, spatial statistics, and geoprocessing analyses.
Support GIS-based decision-making with data-driven insights.
Work with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, Survey123, Field Maps, and related Esri apps.
Configure and optimize GIS databases, feature services, and data workflows.
Collaborate with GIS developers, system admins, and project teams to design geospatial solutions.
Act as technical lead for tasks, interface with clients, provide status updates, review outputs.
