Job summary

Dewberry seeks a Geospatial Analyst to join our Geospatial Solutions and Analytics team in Fairfax, VA. You will perform spatial analyses using Esri software, develop maps and dashboards, and communicate findings to stakeholders across federal, state, and local projects.

This is a hybrid position requiring at least 3 days per week in our Fairfax, VA office. A bachelor’s degree in GIS or related field and hands-on Esri experience are preferred, with agile teamwork and a drive to contribute to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS or related field and relevant geospatial/data science studies.
• At least 1 year of Esri technology experience, including AGOL tools like Experience Builder, Dashboard, Hub.
• Ability to work independently and in an agile team environment; strong organizational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform spatial analyses using Esri software to support planning and infrastructure projects.
• Develop maps, dashboards, and data visualizations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Conduct network, proximity, suitability, and geoprocessing analyses.
• Support GIS-based decision-making through data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Work with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, Survey123, Field Maps, Experience Builder, Dashboards, and related Esri apps.
• Collaborate with GIS developers and system admins to implement and enhance geospatial solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform spatial analyses using Esri software to support planning, emergency management, engineering, asset management, environmental, utility, and infrastructure projects.
• Develop maps, dashboards, and data visualizations that communicate analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Conduct network, proximity, suitability, spatial statistics, and geoprocessing analyses.
• Support GIS-based decision-making through data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Work extensively with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online (AGOL), ArcGIS Enterprise, Survey123, Field Maps, Experience Builder, Dashboards, and related Esri applications.
• Configure and maintain GIS data, web maps, feature services, and applications.
• Collaborate with GIS developers and system administrators to implement and enhance geospatial solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, GIS or other relevant geospatial or data science related field.
• At least 1 year experience working with Esri technology, particularly with Esri's AGOL tools such as Experience Builder, Dashboard, and Hub.
• Ability to work independently using strong organizational skills and operate effectively in team settings using an agile software development approach.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform products is helpful.
