Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or Geophysics required; master's/PhD preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant exploration experience.
• Expertise in seismic interpretation and well-log/core correlation.
• Experience with probabilistic volumetric assessments and economic screening.

Responsibilities

• Generate and mature exploration prospects across the Western Desert of Egypt.
• Integrate seismic, well log, core, and production data to develop and defend geologic interpretations.
• Deliver pre-drill evaluations, including volumetrics, risking, and uncertainty assessments.
• Apply sequence stratigraphy, depositional systems analysis, and structural interpretation to predict reservoir distribution and quality.
• Utilize advanced Petrel workflows for subsurface evaluation.
• Support and mentor geoscientists through knowledge sharing and technical coaching.
• Partner with engineering and operations teams to optimize exploration drilling and execute successful drilling campaigns.
