Job summary

ONEOK is seeking a Senior Geologist to oversee complex subsurface evaluations and integrity workstreams across underground gas and liquids storage and reserves assets. You will provide technical leadership for drilling/solution mining support, down hole corrosion monitoring, integrity testing, shut-in testing, inventory verification, and geological/geophysical evaluation and workover operations.

Qualifications

• Senior geologist with oversight of complex subsurface evaluations and integrity workstreams.
• Ability to lead drilling/solution mining support, downhole corrosion monitoring, integrity testing, shut-in testing, inventory verification, geological and geophysical evaluation and workover operations.
• Experience guiding junior staff and mentoring engineers; influences technical decisions through expertise.

Responsibilities

• Owns delivery of complex subsurface analyses and monitoring with actionable leadership recommendations.
• Leads technical evaluation for drilling, solution mining, and workover planning with justified technical plans.
• Resolves complex well and cavern integrity challenges through formation behavior and operating condition interpretation; drives root-cause investigations.
• Implements improvements to underground storage integrity processes, analysis methods, and reporting; standardizes best practices.
