Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Senior Geologist to serve as a technical leader in our Site Investigation and Remediation practice across Texas and New Mexico. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Professional Geologist in Texas with TRRP, RRC, NMOCD, BLM, and NMSLO experience.

You will lead complex projects, oversee subsurface investigations, and provide expert guidance to teams and clients. The role emphasizes regulatory coordination, project leadership, and business development support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology or related field and a minimum of 9 years’ related experience.
• Master's degree or PhD preferred.
• Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer status required.
• Professional Geologist (PG) designation required.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex environmental assessment, investigation, and remediation projects across TX and NM.
• Develop conceptual site models and direct drilling and subsurface investigations.
• Prepare regulatory reports and closure strategies for clients and regulators.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and mentors to staff.
• Support business development efforts and contribute to proposals.
