Emmons & Olivier Resources, Inc. (EOR) in Saint Paul, MN seeks a mid-career to senior Geologist/Hydrogeologist to join our water resources team.

The role blends office work with field duties and supports groundwater management, water quality, and design projects for government and developers. The successful candidate will bring 8+ years of geology experience, plus state registrations or plans to obtain PG/GIT in MN/WI.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of geologist experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in geology, geological engineering, geotechnical engineering, groundwater hydrology, or related field required.
• Has or working to obtain Professional Geologist (PG) or Geologist in Training (GIT) registration in Minnesota or Wisconsin.
• Registrations in other states are acceptable if a Minnesota/Wisconsin license can be obtained within one year.
• Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions and on challenging terrain.
• Must be able to carry, lift or pull equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and occasional field work (1–2 days/week) including some overnight travel.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team; good writing and basic computer skills.
• Passion for the environment and for being part of an employee-owned company.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of natural resources and water resources professionals.
• Office duties include data management, data analysis, preparing well logs, groundwater modeling, report writing, and marketing support.
• Field work responsibilities may include soils classification, groundwater sampling, well installation, water-level measurements, aquifer testing, and environmental site assessments.
• Senior level role includes opportunities for business development, project and client management, supervising internal teams, and strategic planning.
