Emmons & Olivier Resources, Inc. (EOR) in Saint Paul, MN seeks a mid-career to senior Geologist/Hydrogeologist for a mix of office and field work.

You'll collaborate with natural resources and water resources professionals on groundwater monitoring, surface water interactions, and water-supply planning, supporting climate-related analyses and site assessments. The role requires 8+ years in geology, a relevant bachelor’s, and potential for PG or GIT licensure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years geologist experience required
• B.A. or B.S. in geology or related field required
• Professional registration as PG or GIT in Minnesota/Wisconsin preferred or obtainable within 1 year
• Ability to work outdoors in variable weather and challenging terrain
• Valid driver’s license and occasional field work (1–2 days/week) including overnight travel
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Good writing and basic computer skills
• Commitment to environment and employee-owned company culture

Responsibilities

• Mixture of office and some field work
• Data management and data analysis using software
• Preparing well logs and groundwater modeling
• Report writing and marketing support
• Field responsibilities may include soils classification, groundwater sampling, well installations, groundwater level measurements, aquifer testing and site assessments
• Senior role includes business development, project and client management, team supervision and strategic planning
